So, when the complementary receptor of B cells bind to the antigen of the pathogen, what is this complex called then?
Coz my teacher gave me some notes, where some parts are not needed in A-levels (a bit advanced) , so I was wondering what is this complex called? thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot on the explaination on the humoral and cell-mediated response. Sorry I got a question here. I thought b-effector cells= plasma cells?
In your reply, do you mean : B-effector cells differentiate through mitosis to become plasma cells ; and plasma cells produces antibodies?

yeah i'm trying for at least AAA
wow that's really weird, my B was in Biology too! I'm resitting my unit 1 in January (missed the A by 3UMS) but i'm hoping for a really high UMS so it can bring up my grade if i do badly in A2 topics. Also I got my photocopied script so i know where i went wrong etcetc.
For me, revising for the resit isn't too bad because I remembered most of the topics so it may not affect your other subjects if you kind of remember it too? I started revising for it a while ago so I don't need to revise as much over the christmas hols and dedicate the hols to my other subjects.

I've applied to Bath and Bristol too! I think Bristol is my least favourite partly because i prefer campuses compared to city. I think you'll have to phone them up after you get the results and see if they will accept you although I emailed Warwick when i was considering applying there asking if they would accept it and they replied ''Applicants who have not achieved or predicted these grades are unlikely to be made an offer. We do not consider A*AB to equate to AAA at A level.''

omg yay i got an offer just now from warwick too!!! i'm so happy! : D
what other unis you applying too?
-
hi i can't believe you got an offer from warwick! you've made me more happy because i've got the same predicted grades as you (A*AB), and i wasn't actually sure whether to apply to warwick because the grade requirement is AAA! Was your personal statement really good do you think?! ...because all other offers given to people have predicted grades A*AA+
Also how long did you have to wait for the offer after you submitted your ucas? when did you submit your ucas?
Sorry i'm asking you so many questions but i'm just so happy i have hope of getting into warwick!
