Hi I applied for architecture and now have an invite for an interview, and I was just wondering if you could give me any tips? What sort of questions did they ask and stuff? Also was your portfolio very building-based? Thanks

Ohh thank you so much for your help. And your description of Sheffield sounds assuring. I do like the Architecture department building as well, although I didn't get to look around much. Well, I hope my application goes well.

Did I really sound like panicking from my post? I am an overly-worried person, though I didn't expect it to show from my writings :P

Anyway, thank you for your reply. So far, I have done similar to what you did (putting different kinds of mediums and grouping it into some 'projects' or theme in one page). What I am still working on is the amount of images per page. I have shown my portfolio to my art teacher, and he said I put too much work in one page, that make the pictures (especially pencil or pen drawings) unclear. How many works did you put in one page, Claire? Did you combine the pages in a pdf file?

I knew before I applied to UCL that the application process will be too competitive, but the idea of living in London (in the middle of everything) just made me want to go there. But I also like Sheffield because of the atmosphere I saw when I went to the open day as well as their Student Union's good reputation. As I am an international student, I think having a friendly social environment will help me a lot during my study

Which aspect of Sheffield do you like the most? Are you currently studying in the first year?

Hi Claire, I saw some of your posts about Sheffield, and I would like to ask some advoce about applying there I have received the task and portfolio deadline (14th). What kind of stuff did you put in your portfolio? I'm really not sure if i'm good enough now that i've received rejection from UCL now I don't want the same thing happen with Sheffield, so I'll try my best for it. Do you know what kind of things they're looking for in portfolios?
