Hey Claire,
Been reading around the Architecture threads and you seem like a prominent and well informed figure that seems to be giving helpful advice all around I'm applying to Sheffield, and i've had the task set and everything, but I'm not sure how to carry it out in relation to the rest of my portfolio. Do you think you could give me some advice if i send you my portfolio up to know, and maybe you can give me some advice on what media would be a good idea for the assignment?

i am planning to apply for a portfolio preparation course but it starts on the 12th of january to the 9th of feb.
if i am sending my ucas application on november. would it be best not to go as universities may ask for a portfolio earlier then january?

If i send my ucas application by the end of November when is it the earliest they could possibly reply?
i want to send my application late so i dont have to give my portfolio in early.....

Hey, i want to do architecture after year 11 and not to sure what i need to do and where the best place to study it is after year 11, would you know what to do?

Actually scrap that haha. Even though i just had an equally awkward yet delightful phone conversation with one of the secretaries, I realised it's as easy as simply just asking for work exp..

I need to get some this summer! But i don't know how to go about it. I've heard most of them ignore emails. I should phone but have no idea how to go about it. Did they interview you first/ask to see work or a portfolio of some sort, or was it a simple organisation over one phone call?
