    Thank you very much for your answer. It was incredibly thought out and it has helped me a lot. I don't think I can say anything else but thank you. The timing especially was a great point. I think a large part of the timing is just being socially intelligent and more responsive to them rather than just talking at them. I think I'm improving but I obviously have a lot to work on.

    If you can, please watch the thread. I post weekly on it and it is clear that you are a very intelligent person so your insights would be appreciated.

    I'm just trying to get by and help whoever I can to be honest : )
    Interests
    Reading-I adore books, any genre goes but fantasy, thriller and horror are some faves. Going for an English degree, fingers crossed!
    Music-I like everything from Rihanna to Rise Against to Slipknot, even the odd bit of classical. Fall Out Boy and Avenged Sevenfold are probably my idols. Except for the reallly repetitive dance tunes, ugh ¬ ¬
    Films-Loads. Bit of a geek to be honest, so Lord of the Rings and Star Wars rate up there but I love comedy and the artsy stuff too : ) Self-confessed Renaissance Disney diehard : P
    Games-Final Fantasy. Kingdom Hearts ^ ^ but yes, I play CoD and Guitar Hero too. Crash Bandicoot 1-3 remain the best platformers going minus perhaps Mario, no argument!
    Lately one of my best friends has been trying to convert me into Comic Book Guy, hate to say it but he's succeeding ; D
    Finally, one day I'll learn to cook-that day will be a glorious one.
