How did your exams go??
(This is in reply to your email btw but I thought I'd post it with this). Yes, I was born in India but I've lived in England since I was 3 so I don't really remember anything from India when I lived there. I did live in Maharashtra though which is quite cool
Congratulations for your offer for 60%! I have no doubt that you'll get that and will be off to Durham in no time!!
Yeah just revising for exams at the minute. Kind of scary how soon they are and how much I have to do!

Ah I've just checked and one of them finished at that college a couple of years ago and the other has moved to New Delhi. I think they were both Science students though Yes my exams from January are over but just studying for the main ones in June now ahh How about you?

Yes I am haha! And I have some relatives that go/went to Fergusson College! I knew it was something beginning with 'F' but I couldn't remember the name. That's really cool! And yes me too I can't wait for October now

Erm I'm not quite sure whereabouts exactly in Pune just that it's Pune haha I have some other relatives in Mumbai as well (in Thane) Which college do you go to in Pune? I've visited one with some relatives and I was wondering if it's the same place?

Wow that's a lot of subjects! I do English Literature, Spanish and Geography

I went to the open day today actually! It was really good! Durham is a lovely place and Collingwood is great I didn't stay over so I missed out on a lot of things but everyone I spoke to who stayed over had an amazing time so it sounds good. Also everyone was really friendly! Think we definitely picked the right college

That's awesome! My dad was born in Pune and I still have lots of family there who I visit Ah they're all quite far away but I guess that can still be a good thing as you won't run into family when you're out partying in Durham or anything I guess this is a plus of getting rejected from Oxford as my cousin goes there and I think it would have been really weird and slightly intimidating as he's very smart and in the same societies I would have joined

I'm from near Sheffield I tried looking for that daily life of an Arts student and can't seem to find it (fail lol) - do you have a link? I actually have never visited Durham but I imagine it's got a town feel with some countryside round the outskirts but that's a total guess and is just my imagination! What subjects are you doing atm?

Ah I will let you know what it's like Yes it is really exciting! I can't wait to start in September although it's really nerve-wracking! It's quite scary just thinking about it Yes it will ease the tension slightly to know someone! I'm glad as well Which country are you from? Will you be completely on your own in Durham/UK then?

40 is really good I got 39 and yeah I'm fine with it because it was the first thing like that I've done too. I was disappointed at first but hopefully I'll improve so oh well Did you get into Oxford by the way?

I asked my Head of Sixth Form and he logged into the site for me and found out so you could ask your teacher? Yeah they released the results early January I think? It seems like ages ago! x
