We had to do a a performance in the first year, which lasted about fifteen mintues with questions from the examiners. We also had a listening exam kinda like the one at GCSE, which was pretty hard, but only counted for 20% of the overall grade. The rest of it was a composition for 4-10 instruments based on any style you want, which was pretty fun, and some harmony excersizes, which were hard at first but easier as you do more of them
