You would have to trawl through Maths Exams to look for it.

Okay, sounds like you have a mixed variety of work to put in your portfolio. I quite like the Cubist and Surrealist movements as well. Its true you have to be selective but I guess they want to see you can take a given assignment and make it your own: extensive research, development, trial and error; so on. If Nottingham is your dream uni then I guess getting an A will be quite important for you, although you might be able to get a conditional offer on the basis of a excellent portfolio, having that said I wouldn't rely on just that. I would like to see a few pieces of your work if thats fine and i'll show a few of mine. By the way, have you received the 'street' task from Sheffield university?
  4. I like both as well, thus Ive done both. But if I was to choose then fine art would come on top, though say I also love making things. My typical Art project is like this: Start with a starting point , like "Unusual Viewpoint" or "Fantastic Forms", from there progress to a topic/theme, then pick some relevant/applicable artists for the topic and doing artworks influenced by those. I love art, so far Ive been using Fauvism, Surrealism, Cubism, Impressionism, Futurism, Pop Art, Op Art, Origami etc. So I have quite a bit to put in my portfolio, but I have to be 'selective' which I suck at. Yeah, tons of worries!!! Like when Unis ask for artwork and they being really vague and I have no idea what they mean. And, if I can't get my physics up to an A then my dream destination Nottingham is out of the question!
  5. Ive applied to Nottingham, Liverpool, Sheffield, Manchester and Brookes. Hopefully can get into one of them. As for now I'm predicted A*A*B for Art, Maths and Physics, which I'm not too happy about so I need to get my Physics up to an A.
You doing Graphic Design? So which do you like better, Fine Art or Graphic?
  6. hey, nice to know you. I want to study Architecture at Uni, so right now I'm in the upper 6th studying Art, DT, Maths and Physics at Alevel. You?
