About me

I'm Marketing Director for The Student Room.

It's my job the listen to TSR members, to the Mods, to students generally, teachers, universities, to government departments, businesses...anyone that has a valid say in the direction TSR should take. I distill those views down with some of my own and those of the rest of the team at TSR HQ in Brighton. This is how we collectively decide on future site developments and the overall direction TSR should take and we'll ensure the Student Room continues to be the best student site in the UK, nay the world!

It's also my job to make TSR more famous than it already is. Do we want to be as big as Facebook? Nah. But it's my moral duty to ensure every student and teacher is aware of us

I work closely with CJ and RK who in turn work closely with the mod team and site community moving the site forward ensuring its a welcoming, fun and damn useful community to be a part of.

How did I get into websites and TSR?
I was editor of my university newspaper at university and loved that experience.

Following university I wanted to get into publishing of some sort. As it turned out I got into websites.

Since uni days I set up and ran www.fazed.com in my spare time. It got pretty big at one point but I don't have a lot of time to do work on it now. If anyone wants to carry on the mantle of Fazed get in touch it needs some love.

My work history is shown below. I live in East London and commute to Brighton most days of the week to TSR HQ.
