  2. Hey mate, can I ask you to check something out for me please? It's regarding an article where they use ruthenium red and calcium to investigate insulin sensitivity. Here's the link to my thread:

  3. Is it really that simple?

I thought it'd be something complicated!
  4. Yes, That's what we're learning about. I don't know why the environment in the bag in which the agar is placed needs to be moist  However, I think I do need to know for another assessment I have this friday. You got any ideas?
  5. Hi Jale, I'm not sure which specific area of biology your expertise lie in, but do you know about immunodiffusion stuff? Like the Ouchterlony technique, for example?
  6. Thanks mate, you really helped me a lot to clear the confusion with that paper. The viva went well, I'll probably get my mark next week or something
  7. Allright, thanks dude.
  8. Cheers, why's that - they aren't used much?
  9. Hey - I messaged you on facebook a while back but I don't think you got it.. I was wondering if I could ask a question.
You know for the first year, the reading list specifically - what books would be the ones most worth getting because it seems that you could also get a few of the books on their from the library?

    Thanks
  10. hi. hope you dont mind me messaging you? I am basically very interested in applying to warwick but i am a bit intimidated by it.I think this is down to the fact that i have had a decade break in my education and have lost the blinkers i may have had when i was 18! I know i will need top grades and I have an A grade alevel already and am now going into my a2 year after getting ABB in pyschology history and biology. I was only 1% off an A for history and 4% off for biology and have no doubt i can raise the b's to a's or a*s. Is their any advice or info you have about biomed or the life sciences dept at warwick that may be helpfull? i would be very gratefull. Enjoy the rest of your summer!!
