The level of English doesnt need to be amazing - I took GCSE's over 10 years ago and still did well. (A* 373/400 ums)

What is important is that your able to put your point across so examiners can understand what your trying to say as for Papers 1+2 everything is in generally smaller chunks (with some 6 markers, 8 markers and a 12 mark question usually) but it gets more demanding on English skills for papers 3+4 as they are purely essay based questions (paper 4 approx 2/3 essay based with the rest based on Research methods similar to paper 1).

For paper 3 and the aggression topic in particular; I have actually written a book which is in the itunes store with all the model answers for aggression which students simply have to memorise based on what they believe may come up (you can usually guess based on what hasnt come up and hedge your bets - but its risky! be warned!)

But its what I done throughout and it worked ok for me.

It covers the aggression topic only and costs £1.49. It has all my model answers that I used to get me full marks on paper 3 for aggression.
The fee is to cover the cost of the ISBN numbers I had to purchase to publish on itunes and effort in writing up all the essays.
You will likely see that it took some time to extract and shape all the answers in such a way so as to give a clear structure to write and imitate for students.

My other topics were Sleep and Relationships but I havnt created a book for them yet but there seems to be more interest with students finding my posts and january exams creeping up.

I may get put my paper 4 essays up to help people also at some point.
