  1. As you like.
  2. Great, I have many things to discuss about it.

I waited for your reply and when I decided to post here again, found you replied in your profile.
Wouldyou mind if we talk through emails? Relgious scientific discussion.

    All the best
  3. gltw
I study Physics, this is my favourite of all the sciences.
  4. Are you interested in any scientific field?
  5. Thank you

Do you mean mine or yours or in general?

As I know life is to me and to you and in general is a big trick.
  6. Hello gltw

    How's life with you?
  7. But there's a time and a place to tell people otherwise it's counterproductive.
  8. Yes you can correct people and point them to the bible but arguing isn't going to persuade them round to your point of view or anything. We should love even those who don't believe and treat everyone how we would like to be treated. Plus X-soc is very definitely a place for people to get away from having to argue and justify themselves. After all we have non Christians who post on the thread and that's fine because they don't insult people.
  9. The judgement of others. You don't know everything about everyone and you definitely can't see what's in their hearts like God can.
  10. The swords they had were literal swords but that is not what Jesus was commanding them to do.
Wait, so first you say that it was a METAPHORICAL statement and now you change tunes and say that "it was literal swords" but that is "not what Jesus commanded them to do".

As I explained before, the disciples all listened to Jesus, right?
So how can one of the disciples have "METAPHORICALLY" cut off the high priests ear if the sword was metaphorical and if he was not commanded by Jesus to use the sword.
Further, why would Jesus tell his disciples to purchase swords if he did not intend to use them?

You did not even answer my point never mind refute it. Of course muhammad was never mentioned in the Bible. Muhammad was a mad man and a paedophile who doubted he even had a revelation from God, what actually made him a prophet could you tell me one prophecy that was not vague and could only have come from God which has actually occurred?
I'll answer yours in due time, but could you tell me if Jesus was prophecised in the OT? (If he was, then could you show me where).

    About me
A born again Christian who believes in the Ultimate authority of the Bible given by revelation from God to men.

I believe all mankind can chose to accept or reject God as their personal God and most people will reject God.

I also believe that Christians who compromise their doctrine contradicting the scriptures are not Christians at all and must be prayed for.

    John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

    1 John 1:5
God is light, and in him is no darkness at all

    Revelation 1:8
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

    John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
