Yes, most of the course involved stats and modelling biological systems with computers. What I have learnt is useful for biological research and i now know I need to avoid anything that enmtails maths exams!. However, the research project was what I really wanted to do, which I probably now cannot do. So, yes, getting actual research experience is the way to go.
Ideally I need to get something published, which was the purpose of the project. SoIi need to seek oppurtunities of doing research to get something published either through a proper 'research' masters or through field work somewhere. Thank you for the advice
