thanks for replying. I read somewhere that it may be the incorporated prokaryotes sharing their plasmids with genome of the cell they moved into or something like that. I'm pretty confused myself, I was worried it might come up in our f214 paper, but luckily it didn't haha

Hi I saw your post asking how endosymbionts get passed on to the next generations but not in certain cases where algae are incorporated in an organism. I have been finding it hard to understand. If you get it, would you mind explaining it to me? Thanks

I haven't seen your grades, but yes of course. And there is no harm applying now if you're going to put it off anyway. Southampton for example (there are others) will only look that you meet the minimum entry requirements for medicine. After that everyone is even, so A*A*A*A*A* won't be favoured over AAA for predictions as they look to see you're a more developed person.
I hope this helps. Also, if you're concerned about getting AAA overall after this year, there are courses like BM6 that offer a different way in. The requirements there are BBC (bio and chem needed) but that is another option.
Don't be scared of rejections (I got one on my birthday oh dear). If you get in, great, if not just try again. Lots of people don't get in first time round, but second time have more success. Then again, lots of people do get in first time too!
If you really want it, go for it.
Here if you need anything,
Beth

Random, but did you know that a lot (LOT) of unis don't consider your AS results, only predicted?
Seen that you were thinking of putting of applying this year is all
