Mmm, yeah, I was really considering going to Seoul just to check out Gangnam. I just worry that it might be a bit more stress than necessary, not just because of the language barrier but also because the airport is quite a distance away from Seoul, whereas in Hong Kong, everything's a bit closer to each other. I would still like to visit Seoul at some point when I'm a bit more of a confident traveller.

Gonna do a working holiday in Australia. Been reading and obsessing about it for the past few months, and I'm currently just in the process of starting to organise things before I go in Jan/Feb and I can't wait . The flight journey is super long so I will do a few days stopover in either Seoul or Hong Kong, though the language barrier is bothering me a bit about South Korea so Hong Kong might be better for me as a first time lone traveller. I definitely still want to try and visit a lot of these Asian cities at some point in the future, as well as the USA, Canada and New Zealand. Trying not to get too ahead of myself though and will just start with Hong Kong and Australia at the moment, then go with the flow afterwards
