It's a great and modern place, tbh. Pretty much like our neighbour Dubai but calmer
Then apart from Muscat city which has great shopping, amusement and amazing places to hang out, there's a lot of sight seeing, turtle watching, desert safaris, surfing, scuba diving, hiking etc to spend time with I love the green mountains of Salalah:

Lol it's quite frustrating when all people can think about when they think of Oman is deserts

I don't live in Britain. I live in Muscat, Oman, as an expatriate. It's a very multi-cultural place with a lot of Asians and Europeans, especially Brits as residents although Oman is a great tourist attraction as well
