  1. Best value for money kitchen cabinets are from http://www.cheapestkitchensintheworld.c o.uk/kitchen-cabinets.asp . When it comes down to buying kitchen cabinets I think I’ve learnt a lot over the past month or so as I’ve shopped around. Like most people I am on a budget and therefore I needed something that was going to last and at the same time I didn’t want to break the bank. In other words I wanted BMW quality but only wanted pay Skoda prices. Well unlike when buying a car with kitchen cabinets it’s much easier to do. I visited quite a few Posh showrooms where they portrayed to sell top quality and I visited B+Q , Wickes and Howdens. To be quite honest I couldn’t see any difference whatsoever in the quality that they offered. If anything the wickes units were actually better than the Posh shop cabinets, wickes kitchen cabinets had solid backs unlike the others. Howdens offered the best price. Finally I found a company called http://www.cheapestkitchensintheworld.c o.uk/kitchen-cabinets.asp , they offered me solid backed kitchen cabinets and for less money than howdens. So my advise to everyone on this forum is look around before you decide. It really is not a case of you get what you pay for. You get what you look for.
  2. Hi great to see someone so passionate about Physics!! Its a pretty awesome degree choice I'd say maths and further maths are way better indicators of who will make a good Physicist, its heavily mathsy once you get past A level. It varies Uni to Uni but at Durham there aren't really any essay style questions in the exams. HOWEVER, you do have to write tons of lab reports in the style of scientific journal papers - maybe 1 page reports in 1st year, 4 pages in 2nd year, 16 in 3rd... And a huge one in 4th year if you do a masters project - so it's really important that you can write concisely and explain in detail what your experiment / research project involved. It takes a while to get the style right for these coursework peices, but with lots of practice you can soon get the hang of it To take a look at some examples online, just go to 'google scholar' and type something like 'black holes' in and just see what comes up from journals like 'Astronomy & Astrophysics' Should give you an idea. I hope this helps!
