Meh, it doesn't even matter.

No probs, I am not the type to go round hating people
I skimmed through and I can gather you're not an atheist (a strong one anyway ) but my argument is that we humans, and indeed the world is far to intricate to be made by 'the big bang'. I am not saying the big bang did not happen,by why couldn't the big bang have happened but God STILL made the Earth and us?
I also saw your comment about preferring a world where you did what you wanted to do. Everyone would want that. And we will in heaven, if God deems our actions on this 'journey' to be sufficient to be granted access. Innit.

I like your poem from the literature side of it, I see potential
But I don't really agree with it. You can still worship and live a free life.

Katyness is doing a bit better than the other guy! Still, she's hardly putting forwards a convincing argument. Isn't it funny how some religious people claim to know our position better than we do!

Sorry 'bout that vanishing act, 'twas dinner. Wow, you studied all that philosophy? I don't know how you had time, we just did religion and... I can't even remember what the other thing was last year. It might have been epistemology... Never mind! So what sort of stuff are you doing next year?

I always loved Biology, part of me laments not having followed a scientific route, but there we go. I'm on lang, I've never been a great fan of analysing writing and all our school does is Victorian literature in the theme of love (yawn, followed by suicide), so it definitely wasn't for me. I really enjoy the scientific side of Language, although there is still a little too much BS on the analysis side really. Philosophy is more fun, one can get one's teeth stuck well into a good argument! It's a fairly Christian school so we do philosophy of religion - amusingly all the study of arguments for and against religion has just made the class even less religious than it was at the start. Which philosophical areas do you study?

I've got a standard single in Sherwood - I was hoping to get into Cripps but there we go. Know where you're staying? It will be great fun, the staff are brilliantly enthusiastic there. I guess you will have some of the same exams as me coming up in the next few days - AQA English on Monday? I'm really not looking forward to that one...

Ooh bloody hell, just checked the info about you. Nottingham uni for English? I'm going too, in the same year, for Viking Studies which is in the English school! It is a fantastic uni isn't it, I can't wait to get there! Good to have found another Nottingham buddy

Haha, they're often like that! Sadly, the religious people who are capable of putting together a coherent argument tend to be the sensible ones who are perfectly happy to live and let live. Meanwhile, the total dunderheads who can't grasp basic scientific principles or string together an even vaguely consistent argument are utterly convinced that they alone understand the divine truth of reality. Ah well, good job thus far!

I feel like I've played a part in turning your religion thread into yet another argument - sorry about that! Although you do seem to be handling King Panther rather well (not that he's presenting a particularly intellectually challenging argument...)
