I got DMM in the end Took some hard work i'll tell you. We had two truly useless teachers who didnt understand their subjects at all. and ahhh congrats mate! Well done. Fair play for sticking at it.

Doent tell me when I've got them either. And yeah I was panicing like mad towards the end of my course but my tutor assured me said he's 90% sure i'll get in. Still got a slight worry though :/
Got distinctions overall this year so I think I'll be alright
how about yourself? You needed to work hard to get your done as well if I remember

Yeah where I'm going there's a shopping mall opposite and there's KFC and McDonalds and tons of stalls doing indian and caribbean food etc. plus a nandos down the road... Hopefully I'll still fit in the train when I want to come home lol. Haha that's quite funny actually.. can you eat cheese if it's cooked though? One of my friends can have melted cheese in paninis and on pizza but just can't eat cold cheese or drink milk. I've got a clothes rail because I'm going to have a really tiny wardrobe, a tin opener, a bottle opener/corkscrew, chopping board, colander, sieve, cake tin, baking tray, mixing bowl, potato peeler (I do all my own cooking and I've never used one but apparently I'll need it when I go to uni :/), cutlery, plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, a bin, ice cube trays, laundry thingy, lamp, photo frame.. lol I think I've just got a few more bits and bobs to get and of course my bed sheets, saucepans and frying pans.. It's a good job my Dad's using his van to take me lol. It's unbelievable how much stuff we have to take!

Oh wow you've done really well then! Yeah I think they'd cross over a bit... The reason I chose psychology and criminal behaviour rather than criminology is because if I do psychology then it's BPS accredited so I could go on to be a psychologist (if I was to do a masters) and I did a unit in criminology as part of my course and I didn't really like it that much lol. I think criminology is much nearer to sociology than it is to psychology and I'm more interested in the individual and the brain than I am classicism vs positivism etc. I can totally understand why people would enjoy it though. It wasn't really for me but I still found it fairly interesting. Yeah I can't wait to move out and have all that independance and get out of this boring little village lol have you started buying things yet?

Haha good for you! I couldn't believe that when I said a BTEC science student would be quicker at finding the concentration of something in a laboratory than an A-level chemistry student he assumed it would be written on the flask! Either a troll or a classic example of one of the many spoon fed A-level science students who aren't taught to think for themselves. Aww thanks I think tsr should change it so that if someone gets banned then all their negs are reversed. Well I finished my BTEC extended diploma (forensic science as you probably know from my posts on that thread) earlier this week and I've got DDM which I'm really happy with considering how little I was able to do last year thanks to the college. My firm choice is bedfordshire because I thought it was a much nicer place at the open day than my other choices and they only want MMP so I'll be going there to study psychology and criminal behaviour in September What are you currently studying/what will you be studying?

I know right? It's crazy! And calling us lazy? Well that's a joke.. I've actually had to do about 90% of my course in one year thanks to the college messing up so I've had to quit my job and my friends probably thought I was dead lol. One night I typed over 7,000 words of stuff that I had to learn myself there and then! I wouldn't call that lazy... Even if I'd had the whole two years to do it in, it wouldn't have been easy! I think the BTEC haters are just annoyed at the fact that we get into universities without having to learn and memorise irrelevant crap for exams.
