I'm from Malaysia =) Currently doing my A-Levels. What about you?
Yeaps I received my accommodation pack the other day, sometime last week. UNfortunately I think it's unlikely for me to go to the UK, financial issues =(.
I will still firm my offer though (they're all conditional, I applied with my predicted grades) and choose an insurance choice.
By choosing the RVC 'for now', do you mean you can change it? =S
I still can't decide between the RVC and Edinburgh, what's important is if I do get a scholarship miraculously, I would have to choose the one that the sponsors want. What do your think?
Sorry i'm being a bit stalkerish but I noticed on the stalking page that you recieved an unconditional for Glasgow and was wondering if you had decided yet as I have just confirmed my place for there next year!
Oh, nice job. At least you figured it out at all. Better late than never?
Yeah, I could see that. But I'm sure you've gained lots of valuable practical life experience while you've taken time off.
No, they don't have a specific pre-vet course. But I'm taking biomedical sciences, then I think I may get a minor in equine sciences too. And if I go there, there is this book that tells the requirements for every veterinary school in America, so I may get that book and pick like five schools and try to get all of those required classes in also.
Maybe now can you open the window again?
Yeah.... Things should not cost anything. No matter how unpractical that sounds.... haha Cornell does have the best vet school in America, but it seems much too stuffy to me... You'll have more fun in the UK anyways. hahaha! How long did you take off? Do you think that helped you overall or hindered your applications? Yay! You won't be too old just yet. Haha... With a five year program, I'll be like 22... :P
That's true... And I keep telling myself it would take longer to get letters anyways! But I've gotten accepted to Colorado State, so at least some college wants me! haha Was Cambridge really that bad? I'm sure you aced it! I've heard that's a really science based interview there.
Thank you so much! Merry Christmas to you also!
Yeah.... Vets just keep telling me it's a second rate school and I should try for a school in America first.... Isn't the campus beautiful?! My stepmom said that St. George's is her first choice school for me because she wants to come visit. I'm actually finishing up high school this year. North Carolina State and Colorado State both have really good vet schools. They're the top public vet schools in the country actually, and I live in CO, so it would be in-state tuition. But the 8 years and all the money is killing me! What vet schools in the US did you like at? It really is cheaper in the UK... And even though over there it's more expensive for international it's still cheaper, it's crazy!
Wow! Those are all great schools. I bet you'll get into all of them! So you don't have a top school? Hmm..... Go with Glasgow! I hear it's the friendliest town in Scotland.
That's great! Are you going to accept it? Or are you waiting for all of your options?
You totally just made me feel better about my not hearing anything, thank you very much!
And thanks for the luck! I applied to Nottingham also in the UK. But then North Carolina State University and Colorado State University in the USA and then St. George's in Grenada. I've got an interview for Grenada, but I've heard that's sorta the slacker vet school of the world.... haha....
Where else have you applied?
Oh wow! That's really good that it went well. Do you think you'll get an offer? No.... I don't have an interview. But I thought they did all their international applicants first for like... interviews and rejections. So I'm not really sure why I haven't heard anything from them.
Hi! I saw that yo got an interview for Glasgow. How'd it go?
