Hello Claire.. , I noticed you are a future dental student, congratulations, and was wondering whether you could give me some advice?
My gcses - 2A*4A 3B
My AS's - AAAAB (As in bio chem math and econ, B in re )

Ukcat- 637.5

I'm not too sure what to make of my ukcat, I know it's low considering my gcse's are weak too. But I'm not sure where I would stand a chance apply to

In gcse English I got a B. so I can't apply to Birmingham, bristol or Liverpool.
Your advice would be much appreciated.

I was thinking of qmul, Leeds perhaps ( vv competitive).
Manchester seems nice but I think they have a lot of emphasis on gcses.


Oh yes and my w/e is -

2 wks private GDP
2 weeks NHS GDP
1 wk ortho
1 week max fax
1 week guys dental institute
1 day barts and the london dental hospital
2 days dental lab

Just a few questions regarding dental applications. Thanks in advance for your help! I hope yours going well and congrats on your offers. I am an undergrad at Uni of Bath reading Biochemmistry and applying for GED for 2013 entry. Do you have any general advice for me? I think I will get a 2.1 overall. Still got one more year to go.

How did you do so well on UKCAT? any books or advice?
Where's best to apply for grad? I'm thinking kings, aberdeen, uclan and peninsula. Is it best to keep one option for undergrad?

Hey, somebody wrote on my post that I should message you... I wanted to do dentistry but my grades werent good enough now I have applied for dental hygeine and therapy and oral health science is my backup but wanted to do a dentistry course after this? Is that totally the wrong way to go about it? I'm really nervous and not sure whether I should resit my last year of sixth form in september and apply to different courses with a better chance of getting into dentistry. Sorry about the long message!x
