Thanks, you've been a great help! Please be on TSR next year so I can get some tips off you!
-
Oh, I just checked. For the UWO HBA program, you have to apply through HBA Inside Track! Just registered
-
Cheers, I'm planning to fly up next year (maybe summer time or whenever it's cheapest :L)
Just trying to get my head around the application process and everything, confusing. I think the entry requirements to UWO are slightly less strict than top unis over here but I emailed UWO and they haven't got back to me yet.
I've figured out for OUAC that I have to apply using the OUAC 105F (International) but I'm not sure if UWO are on there as well :P
Are you applying next year as well?
How cold does Ontario get by the way? and what's the main method of transport e.t.c - also would you say it's expensive compared to other cities in Canada?
-
Yeah, I just want to get away from the UK plus I want to be in a job where I can travel and move about in the future - going to an international uni helps to support my application as it shows I'm pretty broad minded and have experienced international culture!
Is Ontario pretty expensive? How does the housing system work over there (e.g. renting)?
And I assume you're male therefore how are the chicks over there ?
I'm having a look at Toronto now! Cheers

Wow, thank you! I will if I think of something

Hi there, noticed you live in Ontario! I am thinking of applying next year to UWO (specifically the Richard Ivey School of Business HBA program).
Was wondering if you could tell me anything about Ontario and what it's like! Nightlife, how easy to get to NY/Toronto - I know the reputation of the Richard Ivey program is top-notch (I think so anyway!) so it would help me out a lot to get some inside knowledge.
Thanks!

oh wow, there are sure a lot of Canadian Cam nat sci students! (the other two Blyth/Cam applicants at my school are going for nat sci too!). I'm glad to see there isn't any direct competition for me!
predicted 41 and 777 at HL and a 4 in history?! at least it's not related to the subject he's applying for!
& good luck with your application! there's not a lot of us Canadian Oxbridge students, and even less Canadian Oxbridge students doing IB!

Hey!
Sorry to appear like an absolute stalker or anything, but I saw your conversation with Julie (punctuation) in the Oxford Int'l applicants thread, and I just wanted to say hi since I'm a Canadian IB student applying to Cambridge with the Blyth scholarship as well.
Anyways, I was just wondering, the other person applying to Cambridge/Blyth at your school, what are his/her predicted grades like and what subject is he/she doing? Sorry to sound so forward or whatever, but I haven't met any other Canadian on this forum applying for Blyth and just wanted to check out the competition
