  1. This is disgusting. I can't even believe that this is allowed. The government are taking away yet more freedoms from people (in fact, the gays). Why shouldn't gays who wanna be cured be allowed to at least try? Instead, they are having their voices drowned out by the likes of you.

I am not saying that I know more than these medical professionals, but it is clear that they have an agenda.
  2. Oh alright...do you reckon NYU places more importance on your transcripts or your final a level grade? Furthermore, how would you compare mcgill and u of t with NYU? Cheers a lot man
  3. Hey mate,

I have noticed that you're currently enrolled in NYU and seem pretty knowledgable with the application process with regards to application to NYU. As such, I would be greatly appreciative if you could help me out with a few queries I have.

I understand that NYU does not require SATs for a level grads. Can you gauge my chances of being admitted with the grades AAB? Any input will be great. Furthermore, if you could guide me through the application process, that would be brilliant. I understand that you have to submit the common app and the NYU supplement. I also understand that my teacher can upload my transcripts for me through the common app. Do I still need to get my transcripts mailed to them by post? Also, I have completed my a levels. Do I need to get the boards to send them my results directly? I was predicted AAA. However, I fell short. Cheers for all the help!
  4. "Took me a while [much longer than it should have, probably] to try and get my point across - my failure on account of trying to work from DoC, rather than 'but for' initially."

    Uhuh :P
  5. Hey thanks for the details. In regards to my finances, I will be awarded a full scholarship from an external organisation back home, so money isn't really an issue. So, as an international transfer student, SAT/ACT's are optional? I plan to sit for them but now that it's optional.. hmm.

Any particular reason behind you choosing NYU over the rest?
  6. Hi there!

So I was thinking of applying to NYU as an international transfer student. Although that may not be the case for you, but what do you think about NYU's admission priorities? I've been hearing stories of how they value SAT/ACT's more than, say, A-Levels and such.

Also, apart from NYU, what other american universities have you considered before?
  7. Wow. All the very best. Hope you enjoy our country.
  8. It looks like you are taking a second degree this year in New York for three more years. And then are going to Durham. Or have you just finished your degree in New York and are now going to Durham for 3 years?
  9. Relatively cheap yes, but in absolute terms it is still a small fortune and I'm curious as to how you're paying it on top of your undergrad debt and living costs etc.
