  1. Okay but are there not more grants available in the US, making the actual cost less?
30K per year is ridiculous! Especially considering you will already be in debt from your first degree. How are you paying for it?
    Anyway, good luck.
  2. Quack Quack :dunce:
  3. Why are you doing 2 degrees? How can you even afford it? I assume you are paying the international rate for tuition fees at Durham. Why don't you just do the 1-year law degree?
  4. I've seen your posts around and love the way you handle the all of the ignorance and bigotry on this site Your stuff is always so interesting to read. + repped.
  5. Maybe TSR realizes we aren't the same person now lol :P
  6. Don't know if you've seen this, thought it might interest you, found it in an article today on Autostraddle

I only briefly skimmed it, don't have much of a brain for psychology!
  7. I'd say it's well known throughout Europe - people I've met from France/Spain etc knew it, and it attracts a fair few international students, not just from Europe but from around the world too. It's definitely got a great rep, more so than Nottingham I would say.

I know, you're so inquisitive haha
  8. St Chad's, which is the one I applied to. It's about two minutes from Castle, right opposite St Cuthbert's cathedral
  9. Yep, definitely. It used to be that just going to Oxford or Cambridge, even if you barely scraped a pass, was better than getting a first from Durham/Imperial/LSE/Bristol etc, but now it's not, the gap is getting smaller and smaller, and Durham is easily considered one of the best in the country
  10. Definitely - there's a group of universities in the UK that everyone considers the best, and Durham is very much part of that, and most of my friends think the gap is closing between Oxbridge and unis like Durham, because everyone recognises just how good they are. I know literally nothing about American universities though, so I can't really compare, but if we had an Ivy League, Durham would easily be part of it.

Excellent, how many more times now before he's banned for good? What was he saying this time?
