  4. hi
  5. In both. This is because you can choose your applied modules. At AS, you will be doing C1, C2 and an applied module (mech 1/stats 1/decision 1). At A2, you will do C3, C4 and a second applied module (mech 2/stats 2/ decision 2).

Mechanics is considered the hardest. Statistics and decision are considered the easiest and most boring. In my opinion, mechanics gets a little challenging from M3 onwards, but I'm keen on physics so take that for what it's worth. Mechanics requires the ability to think clearly about real life problems in order to apply your knowledge from core modules (trig, calculus etc), and that's the challenge I guess.

Statistics modules will be useful if you're doing something maths-related that's not engineering. If you do physics, you will be strongly encouraged to do mechs and you may have no choice.

    Hope that helps
  6. Hi,

yeah I got an A at AS I find really interesting and unis love it, esp for maths/maths-related courses. Didn't have to work really hard but I found it more challenging than maths :yep:. The mechanics maths modules will help you in phys
