Hi winniey.
Newcastle is very competitive, so it may be harder to get into, through those grounds alone. Kent i think would be easier to get into. i went to see both unis. They are both good. Newcastle is more 'rough' and 'messy'..whereas kent is more 'cleancut'...they have small studio rooms...and their building is only like 6years old..so its pretty new stuff. my personal experience and from friends...Try and get in without a foundation year if you can...or have a foundation year as a backup. But try to get into 1st year on the first go. There are many people who start architecture and cant draw well..but are good in computers, or thinking about architecture, reading architecture etc...talking etc....
good luck!

yup i think we are given the liberty to choose if we wanna continue masters in that uni or go somewhere else :> haha i think i would be more than happy to stay in aa for masters. you can come aa then we can hang out hehe.
i'm from singapore! :> near hong kong (kinda haha). do you have fb? :>

Haha yeah I've heard that aa is better in master but guess they offer a 5 year course straight to masters so yeah. Yup both aa and bath offer really different type of course and their teaching methods. I went to visit bath and felt it was great but it felt like what I did in poly and aa seems more like what I'd do. Haha but hard to say since I can't possibly split myself into two and attend both. Haha. Aw thank you!
I'm visiting London in June again haha and probably work till sch starts! So I wont feel so useless haha

haha that's great! :> kent seems lovely. yup yup. haha i also have a break like a long break till september. haha now i'm in the midst of deciding where to go. but probably will choose aa over bath. :>

hello there! :> how have you been? how's your applications been? :>

I chose Ravensbourne because it's very keen on digital arts, graphics, 3D architectural model-making etc... Look it up!

Hi there In response to your question about the foundation course, I'm 99% sure it's a positive thing in the eyes of universities. There are many in London and deadline still hasn't passed for international applicants. Check out: Central Saint Martins, Chelsea College of Art, Ravensbourne, Kingston, City& Guilds and Wimbledon College of Art. They all offer good Art&Design foundation courses. I've applied to Ravensbourne
