Hey! Basically, last year I got a C in maths but As in my other three subjects so I thought I would drop maths this year. But our college is encouraging students to carry on with four subjects (don't know why, it seems like a waste of time to me!) so I'm carrying on with maths too. However, I know that I won't get a good grade in maths even if I work really hard at it so I'm just really going to the lessons to get as much knowledge as I can - my other three subjects will be the ones I use for my offers (if I get some!).
As such, I've only applied to Universities that weren't asking for A2 maths (Newcastle, Sheffield, Aston, Leeds and Nottingham Trent (major back up I hope!)). I don't think you'll be disadvantaged if you've applied to similar universities. Where have you applied to? After all, unless they're only asking for students with A2 maths then they will be happy to accept somebody without.
I was panicked about this too at first but I really wouldn't worry if I was you. Just concerntrate on the 3 you've taken forward- you'll get some offers!!!!!!
