oh and as for the north well... not much to say there i think just i think the whole immigration situation there is seriously stupid. like the NI census showed 30 polish residents in 2006. it showed 30,000 polish residents in 2008. now NI has a very troubled history as im sure u know and people are still not quite recovered from it. i mean the prods and catholics hav been at each others necks ever since the plantation. so i've got say when i hear things like them having to bus the pols and other european immigrants out i have no sympathy. if i was going to immigrate to a country i would at least do some research. but then again i think maybe some of the immigrants where just naive enough to think that with the prods and catholics kicking the **** out of eachother they wouldnt notice a 1000% percent increase in the population around them. keeping in mind its generally been the idea to leave ireland and this is the first time ever really that irelands had to deal with immigration. but yea i find it funny because the loyalists pretty much welcomed the pols and it was the nationalists that apposed them. but now the loyalists traditional nazi colours have shined through and as we saw this july they were burning polish flags along side irish flags. although the pols never really seemed to care about the irish flags being burnt and cared only about themselves and their flag being burnt. which i think shows the mentality. and the NI politicians don't care about steady migration that doesn't send the local communities into shock and inevitably be hostile. they just care about money and if immigrants bring it then so be it. they'll just stuff everyone in the same place tell em to get along and then act shocked at the **** that kicks off. and of course its always gonna piss off the traditionally poor catholics to see polish people bounce over and start doing better than them in the space of like 4 years.

lol i know right? yea its not that bad a place just a avoid moyross and southill and you'll be fine lol. but yea not as involved as i would like. i but my general vibe is that james connolly would be spinning in his grave right now. the republic is so corrupt. i think many europeans would be surprised just how corrupt ireland is. but hey we've got great PR on account of being irish ? lol. but yea when i look at guys like T.J whitaker and how much amazing things he did i do feel like "aw god... were did it all go wrong". i dont really like how everytime i go to ireland it feels and looks more like england. with all the british chains taking over irish local stores. but thats capitalism and connolly warned us about it. i also am really interested in eirigi i'm feeling what their doing quite a lot. they seem very active and walk the walk. i also fear that soon ireland will turn into the giant golf course of europe if any more rich "irish" americans come over and buy up all the land n convert it into a golf course. oh and i was mega pissed with the lisbon treaty when we voted no and then the EU told us to simply... vote again... i also fear that in the rush to try and become as european as possible we are at risk of losing our irishness and what makes ireland so special to become "just another european country"
