I think what you're doing is very noble re: volunteering/nursing.

before i forget the main difference between general adult nursing and mental health is this,with nursing adults u are mainly dealing with their physical symptoms ie they might need a operation to correct a knee or a hand because they are suffering from a lot of pain and discomfort or they might need a operation to do with their stomach,whilst mental health,u mainly dealing with mental disorders like schizophrenia,for instance
hope this explains the difference between the two branches jmfc ^_^

hi jmfc what ever you wish to do,i am sure you be fantastic at it.Nursing isnt for everyone,i dont mind all the sick,blood and all what that entails jmfc as that part of the job doesnt really bother me in the slighetst.I hope that i do get offer a place but i do know i am facing tough competation from other students who have more level 3 credits than me or even for that matter more A levels
