Wow I was only joking!
What's that, over 24 hours now..? I get home from work around 3pm UK time, message me your gaming ID and code (mine's Fyreblade #294) when you know yours! You find your code out by hovering over your profile icon whilst in the game menu, once you've created an account etc etc

Haha awesome
How's the download going? I guess you've finished by now, but then again...

Plus it's incredibly satisfying to repel a cheeser, then you can mock him for being a no-skill fail whilst you gun down everything he has
-
Well cheese refers to a build order, or tactic, that entirely hinges on not being scouted by the enemy, until it's too late. This could include building your unit-producing buildings right near the enemy base, so you can swamp them with units really early on. The reason those tactics are defined as 'cheesy' is because they will almost certainly fail if spotted, and if they DO fail, the cheeser is set at a considerable disadvantage.
The reason 'cheesing' is so popular is because quite a lot of people are lazy and/or unskilled, so they resort to these tactics which generally decide the match within the first 6 minutes or so. This means they can write down the strategy and execute it almost flawlessly after enough failed attempts
You learn to spot the signs of these cheese tactics though, since they need to be executed perfectly or they're just not effective they all have signs you can spot. Then you can just build defensively and they fail. Then you counter-attack and destroy them
Bronze league is full of cheesers, simply because cheesing doesn't work against people who know what they're doing, at least not enough times to be effective. I've already risen above most of that, and I'm top-rank bronze being matched against silver ranked players, so still pretty low.

Well in a game like this, everyone moaning on the forums will be complaining about another race being overpowered, instead of doing the legwork to figure out how to beat it. So of course broodlords are overpowered when there's 20 of them raining death down on you, the trick it to stop the enemy getting so far ahead that they can reach that point
Well the game is rather large, and your internet is probably quite slow? Plus it has a ton of patches to download alongside it. World of warcraft, for example (another blizzard game), takes over 8 hours to fully download and install on a standard internet connection
A demo key wouldn't change anything I'm afraid, it's all about downloading the actual game that's taking this time
-
Haha I'm pretty awful really - partly because of my laptop dropping framerate whenever a huge zerg host swarms onto my screen, which is the exact moment you need to accurately micro-manage your units really well >.< hate zergs!
-
Sweet! I reckon you'll be able to play with me as well, since it allows Custom Games.. fingers crossed!
-
Haha, well I have all my settings turned down to low. My computer can easily handle the specs, but in multiplayer you can get such huge armies clashing, especially with zerg, that the framerate drops through the floor if everything is on maximum
'Teching' is when you research upgrades for damage, armour, extra abilities for special units, etc.

idrA is an incredible zerg player, I found that one of the best ways to learn to play was to watch the pros playing. However it can be a bit tricky because their camera skips all over the place so fast, so you can't always see what they're doing. If you want a ton of footage to get you started I'd recommend Totalbiscuit's "I Suck At Starcraft 2" series. Also dApollo's "Working up from Bronze League" series are awesome for learning the basics of good play for each of the three races.
And 'caster' is short for 'shoutcaster' - which is just the term given to the commentators

They give you around 3 codes per Blizzard game you buy or something ridiculous, so I should have plenty
