  1. Alright mate - I've noticed you're a Cambridge Physics graduate and wanted to ask you some questions about the course if you have the time I'm a King's NatSci offer holder but I think I'm set on physics.

I've heard Physics is an incredibly tough route in the Tripos and that many decide to change to Chem or Materials in the second year - how true is this? Do more people struggle with Physics in part IA than the other options?

What percentage get 2.1 and 1st class degrees out of those doing Physics in part II?

What would be the best preparation for the first year? (I plan on doing Physics, Maths (option B?), Chem and Materials) Strong foundation in maths? Solving hard mechanics problems?

How are the career prospects of NatSci physicists like?

Please give me a heads up of what year/lecture course to watch out for or just any general advice about doing Physics at Cambridge

    Thanks
