hey do you mind if i ask you a question pc? Basically i saw you got an offer from Sheffield, congrats on that But i was told that Sheffield like people with lots of A*s at GCSE as well as a good UKCAT score :/ I only got 3 A* and 4 As but they are similar to you could you tell me what the situation is with them please? Thanks

Thank you so so so much for those wise words of wisdom - I think I will literally be holding onto them till they day I hand in that UCAS form! As you said, i'm very similar to you in that I have the same academics (so far) and do have the right personality, determination and work rate, but not outstanding academics to get my foot in the door!

I can't tell you how big of a difference words like yours, from successful medical applicants make - it certainly gives me a lot of hope. Thank you so much, and now you toom will most undoubtedly be on my "Thank you for helping me achieve my dream" (cheesy right?) list!

Hey, just seen your post on the Medics and Applicants Profile thread - very pleased to see you've been given an offer by Sheffield.

I have very similar stats to yours, and just wanted to know if you had any tips for me - i'd love to apply to sheffield, did you find that your GCSE's held you back? What was the interview process like? Were you apprehensive about applying when Sheffield is usually considered a 700Ukcat+ uni?
