    Hi,

    Firstly, congratulations on your offer!

    Imperial is kinda lenient once you're in. You normally can't swap courses before term has started, but I know some people who swapped courses within the first week or so (from Chemistry to Medicine...) so you shouldn't have much of a problem.

    If they won't let you swap early (it's all down to the department you are leaving and the department you are joining) then the next opportunity for most people to change courses, is over the winter break (but then you've got the fun of exams, without being in the lectures!).
