Good idea! My friend does Zoology at Edinburgh Uni. Going to be in a lot less debt than my southern friends.

Diving.is.amazing. I couldn't recommend it more! And scottish diving, though cold, is meant to be stuning. The Farne Islands are apparently beautiful (SEALS!!)

I plan to volunteer on one of the boats one day though. But need to get my SCUBA instructors cert first, and learn some boat handling skills.

No. But it was my number one choice if I went to Uni Didn't get the grades though/didn't actually apply to uni..haha!

Where have you applied to? Southampton has an INSANELY amazing oceanography centre! I didn't find the marine biology course right for me though
