Haha true! Nothing worse than an Essex accent. I do (: My ex went to Leeds Uni so I visited him quite a bit and fell in love with the city. Plus, I just really want to get away! I love Newcastle but Leeds is bigger and has more stuff to do! Ohh isn't Bradford really close to Leeds? (: haha Ruby is good for hacking? Shouldn't have told me that... ;'D *goes to learn Ruby* hahaha jk. I don't know what I would hack. I'd just play havoc with friends. Oh yeah, I haaaated learning French too. Mainly because my teacher hated me. I didn't mind Spanish so much, I ended up taking it seriously in my last year of it but then stupidly never took it at GCSE, like a right idiot. WHAT SHE'S HARDLY IN IT? 'Kay that's me not buying it haha! Square Enix always gotta chop and change! :P She's an awesomely designed character so I'd be well happy with a big picture of her. Oh dear a novel? .__. so sentimental hahaha. Ahh true, cannot stand CoD. :P Haha jeeeez couldn't bring myself to listen to any of that drovel... my younger sisters are big on Bieber D; luckily they only listen to him on their ipods. I'd probably smash their speakers if they played them on that...keke. Kill list.. lol. Sounds like a good idea.

It basically sells you, especially if you already have the grades they want! I already had the grades by a margin so even though I only typed it up the day before I sent it off, it was the biggest piece of hippy/overexaggerated codswallop I've ever written! Hahaha. Reading it back, it's embarassing! =.= Ohh, that'd be awesome. Wish I had have been more practical and started doing stuff like that... do you program then? If so, that's awesome and I'm jealous. I tried to teach myself programming but have zero patience. :'D Well, with the courses we want to do, I'm sure games counts as 'extra reading' haha jk. Hahaha I know the feeling! Just the other day I was debating whether to email a company I ordered something off. Purely out of desperation as I'm waiting for a new laptop adapter and it's been weeks now, so I was like, should I email them? What if it's cheeky? Haha! Probably won't send it now because I had the cheek to email but oh well :') It can't hurt! I rang Newcastle on results day, eager! They were totally fine and it seems like they get a lot of calls like that any way. As long as you're polite and thank them for their time, you cannot go wrong! It shows motivation/initiative if anything.

Clearing is basically whatever courses have spaces, but tbh, not everyone who will have gotten a conditional from Leeds Met for that course will have accepted, so definitely try when clearing opens. I'd ring up first and ask if they've any vacancies and make yourself sound absolutely amazing on the phone! Last year, I applied to do Japanese at Uni, went for all redbrick Unis even though my predicted grades were absolute pants. I got rejected from all 4, then by some miraculous twist of fate, Newcastle Uni changed my offer to a conditional after reconsidering my application. But, alas, didn't get the grades, but I did ring up Newcastle and they said they had a 3rd look at my application but were already full. Missed by the skin of my two front teeth. Traumatic! But when clearing opened, I rang around universities/courses I was interested in and nearly got myself onto a course at Teesside but declined, since I thought it'd be better to take a year off and work out where I wanna go and how to do it.
Dunno why I'm telling you all this LOL but that's my experience. Clearing is mayhem but do give it a go! You have a lot of chances in clearing but best advice is, don't settle for anything. Settle on summit you really wanna do and if you cannot find anything, take the year out and make your application amazing. It's not so bad! I took a year off and well, had plenty of time to play games, earn money and study Japanese ;-) Like a never ending summer. It sucks you didn't get in because of your personal statement. Maybe you could ask Leeds Met for detailed feedback so you can improve it? :-)

I'm not really arsed when I live any more tbh as long as its near the city centre then I'm good to go. I've been to Leeds a few times as my ex lives there (odear LOL) and I reaaally liked it there! So any where'll do me...near the city centre. Hmm, well, it'd be a shame not to get the Vita since you've been waiting for so long. PS3s will get cheaper I can imagine so I'd say get the Vita then try and get a cheap PS3 along the line sometime?

Just gonna get straight to the point and say GET SOUL CALIBUR. Hahaha. It's amazing! There is a lot of characters with anime-cup size boobs but the mechanics, fun factor and online are just immense. :') Plus Ezio is the guest character. C'mon. Hahaha. Cloud is a legend. Vincent Valentine too. I bought Dirge of Cerberus and nerded all over the floor, it's just amazing. Mortal Kombat is really good haha. Did you play the, was it.. remake? on Xbox I think? Was so awesome!

I work part time at Pizza Hut! Oh the glitz and glamour! It's just to fund my gaming really... spending this ""gap year"" catching up on various titles I missed when at college tehe. Hahaa jealous! You have XIII-2 already! I could buy both SCV and FFXIII-2 buuuut I'm so tight with cash, it's one or the other right now. :') Plus, as much as I love games, I also have an unhealthy obsession with clothes... gotta look good when I game. Pokemon and Yugioh... don't get me started. :') I loved Yugioh tbh, I'd still collect and play cards if it was socially acceptable for a 18 year old to do so... man I miss all the awesome cartoons back then!
