Hey Lana, I'm going to be an NTU 2012 student too, studying Media and Communications and Society!

A mixture of things to be honest. Most of my friends are in their twenties and talk about what they did before they came to uni quite a lot. For example they've all been travelling etc I don't know...its almost like they've actually lived whereas I had to go straight to uni with the fees going up etc. Actually I'd say thats my only reason for wishing i hadn't come. I don't know what Bournemouth's like for media but i've got a mate there and he really doesn't like the place, he says theres not much there e.g. clubs etc. Although if the uni's better than trent for media i'd go to Bournemouth

Hi, my first year been pretty good. There have been times which made me wish i hadn't come here although on the whole I'm glad i did. With regards to people, on the whole i find it fairly easy to get along the people here although there have been several issues regarding my flatmates but thats a long story haha My main issue at uni is time management, the work is doable its just balancing it with going out etc which is the hard bit. If theres anything in particular you want to know, feel free to ask. What course are you hoping to do?
