  1. Hi,

I was just wondering where you read that Oxford do not consider the PAT for engineering students? That could be good news for my EEM application

    Greetings from Frankfurt!
  2. Okay bro.
  3. Unbelievable. I have to applaud your attempt to somehow try and twist the conversation to look like you're the "victim" here. You'd make a great politician.

I called you a "bigot" as a joke relating to my original post. Obviously it went a bit beyond someone like you.
  4. I'm chasing down the reason, not the neg.

You said that if I did not realise my post could imply what you (and only you) think it did, I'm an idiot. That's direct enough for me.

Thanks for completely ignoring my linguistic comment.

And yet still you have yet to provide any non-bigoted reasons against it.

Goodnight person I'm talking to, you're a bigot. Just so we're clear here I'm saying only you're a bigot not everyone that I talk to.
  5. I wasn't chasing you down, I casually asked why you negged me when I saw nothing disagreeable about my post. You then responded offensively and implied I was an idiot.

You mean you didn't read it like how everyone else read it? How does "IN THIS THREAD" sound like "EVERYONE THAT DISAGREES WITH GAY MARRIAGE"? Your example is not equal considering that I specifically said "the responses in this thread". Granted if I'd just said "this thread is bigoted" you could claim that I was suggesting all people opposed to gay marriage are bigots but since I went out of my way to ensure that implication would not be given it is very difficult to see it any other way. I was calling those in the thread bigots, not anti-gay marriage advocates themselves. You hardly need to read it like a "statistical report book" to get that. Either that or you're too easily offended.

So you don't want to provide any non-bigoted reasons against it? I don't agree with forcing religious institutions to marry those that contradicts their religion so how could anyone possibly have a rational problem with the sort of legalisation which would open it up to religions which do want to conduct gay weddings as well as civil marriage?

I've seen pretty much every reason against gay marriage, and the vast majority of those boil down to religious reasons. Which are fine providing they don't restrict more liberal denominations and cultures from conducting them, which they currently do.
  6. No, I said that the responses in that thread were bigoted. If I'd wanted to imply that those who disagreed with gay marriage were bigots I'd have said so, but I was only referring to the responses in that thread which were in some cases, very homophobic. If you like, I can pull out some quotes? But thanks for assuming the meaning behind my comment without thinking it through and then insulting me too.

And frankly, if you want to try and provide a non-bigoted reason not to legalise civil marriage or opening it up to those religions that wish to legalise it, I'm all ears.

Ah, so "neg and run" then.

And before you get the idea that it's the neg I'm bothered about, don't worry, it's literally worthless against my "score".
  7. What? Did you even read my post? I said those that had posted in the thread were mostly bigots. You hadn't. So how exactly have I already called you a bigot?

    don't patronise me, please.
  8. Why did you neg me?
