I'm sorry to hear about the rejections, but you've got Manchester and Edinburgh and surely UCL! Congrats! I only received an offer from Manchester and a rejection from Edinburgh... Soon gonna send Sheffield's portfolio, and still haven't heard from Ucl since I sent the portfolio... I'm veeery worried!
Btw, how many pieces did you send in total for Sheffield?

ah cool, yeah that's what i'm going to do take my current work and some of last year's work aswell. Ah yeah think positive! I've only got one from Nottingham so far and the interview, but really hoping to get one from Bath

There's quite a few people in the same situation, and yeah same don't really know what else i'd do as it has always seemed the natural way for me to go. Uni's don't want everyone to produce similar work though as then there would be no variation so they do look for lots of different things. I'm really detailed to but do sometimes go into abstraction but try to tie it in with my work so it is a natural progression to show the best of both worlds i suppose.
It kind of sucks just after the exams but can't really do anything about it so just going to have to crack on with my art before then, ahh yours are quite varied in terms of subject wise, good luck though!
It's worth going for the best ones though as you'll enjoy them more than some others, even if it is harder to get in, what offers have you got atm and what would be your top choice if you did get an offer?

Hey, i saw your post on the architecture applicants 2012 thread and i'm pretty much in the same boat, ive applied for the same but with nottingham instead of edinburgh and i've got my ucl interview of 15th feb, not looking forward to it either. I'm also working in more of a detailed style at the moment and have 3 further maths exams coming up. I got rejected from sheffield as well but the good news about bath is that they respond to most applicants after the 15th jan deadline to give everyone a fair chance, so still a while to wait for them :/ hope this helps
