It really is very simple, but okay. Go to the SFE page (studentfinance.direct.gov.uk) and log in. Scroll down to where it says 'My Applications', and underneath there should be an orange link saying 'Make changes to your 2012/13 application'. Click that, then click on 'Change your course', and then the button which says 'Find your new course details'. Just type the uni and course in and keep clicking continue to confirm the rest of your details are correct.
After I did all that, under 'Application Status' it said something like 'Your application has been submitted for approval', and then after a few hours it changed to say 'Your application has been approved'. Hey presto. Hope that helps, let me know if you have any problems.

Wooop, congrats! It was fine, you just log on and scroll down to where it says something like 'change your application', then follow the instructions and they'll recalculate your finance. Very straightforward. It took 5 minutes, tops. But then I think we have to wait for them to send us the info in the post, and I've no idea how long that will take.

That's phenomenal, very well done!! Congratulations once again, I'd say that's another step up even from Leicester. A good friend of mine went to Birmingham and she loved it. It's one of the unis my niece is considering too.
What a day you've had!

Thanks ToyosiBaby. I must admit I am already a lawyer (went to Southampton). I'm skulking around because my Australian niece wants to apply for UK universities for 2013 entry and I've been trying to pick up a few tips for her. She's floundering a bit with the whole UCAS thing. But I do feel awfully sorry for everyone today, it's a lot of pressure and disappointment for some.
I'm thrilled it's worked out for you though. I didn't want to say before you'd switched universities, but I think Uni of Leicester will be a much better choice in terms of your future career prospects than Nottingham Trent would have been. I'm afraid to say that law is still very biased about former polytechnics. It will make it easier (though never easy) to get a training contract later on.

Oh wow! Congratulations, I'm so happy for you! I got the A*AA I wanted and I called UCL, they said no straight out and I've tried Durham and they took my details and said they'd call me soon. I don't know whether to try Warwick, they have a list of subjects with vacancies on their website and English isn't one of them. I will wait for Durham to call back and then try, maybe. How did you manage yours so quickly?! Did you call anywhere else or was Leicester the first you tried? Oh my gosh, I'm so excited for you!

Good luck, hope your exam results do exceed your expectations. I see that Southampton has places for LLB law along with a couple of other Russell group unis. You'll have a great time wherever you end up.

Hey, so are you planning on using Adjustment? I didn't do as well as I'd hoped but I've still exceeded my offer so I think I'm going to do it. Going to register now and start ringing up. Let me know what you're doing and I hope everything has gone well

Hi! I didn't even know you could add friends on here, haha Good luck with everything tomorrow and let me know what happens. It'd be amazing if we both end up at the same place.
