  2. Honestly I think you'll be fine as long as you can get the grades at A level. I have a friend who got in for Physics a couple of years ago after getting a mix of A*s, As, Bs and Cs at GCSE. You may need to talk to your teachers about increasing your predicted grades on your application if they're based on your GCSEs just so that they reflect your true potential (at my college the default predicted grades didn't go any higher than a B -.-).
  3. I don't really know to be honest...
    I would say just make sure you get As at AS Level, and try to arrange some work experience. You still have plenty of time to correct your mistakes at GCSE. You just need to prove to them that you are committed, and get the A grades at AS, and get good A-Level predictions - where it will matter most for admissions.

    If you don't get what you need at AS level, there are other great universities out there, the high academic standard at Imperial is for a reason.
