Hello, I am already into the 8th week of lse studying accounting and finance in my first year, I need your advice, I took MA107/ST107 and an outside option of ID100, i actually was thinking of taking MA100 and ST102, which I did for the first week but found it really difficult and changed to half units maths, the problem is now, I am finding ID100 really confusing, I really can't answer the questions, I had a look at the exam papers and I don't know anything, I don't know how to revise for the essay writing as there is no one book. So I am thinking of swapping back to MA100 and ST102 because I heard from my friends that MA100 is actually getting okay now, it was just the beginning but ST102 is getting a little harder, my question is, do you think I should stay with the half units or change to the full units? Many thanks.
i noticed that you have taken ST226 (actuarial investigations: financial)
even though it was probably ages ago, would just like to ask you how the module went? i really need a 2:1 minimum and am considering taking this module. from looking at the exam papers, it seems like all the questions are all about calculations..isit one of those exams where its all about knowing what formulas to plug the numbers into?
or is there a lot more work involved?
any info on this course would be much appreciated...if you cant remember then dont worry thanks
Hey. I know you did it a while ago but can you give me any advice for ST202 pleaaaaase? Thanks
