No worries! I love snow. But then I'm a bit of a cold obsessive - I'm always comfortable when everyone else is freezing, and uncomfortably hot when everyone else thinks it's just right.

I should go to Edinburgh. I've never actually been to Scotland, strangely - but I found out a few days ago that for the first week of my Masters I'll be on a field trip on one of the Scottish islands, which made me quite happy

My course is an MRes in Atmospheric and Climate Science. I'm a bit rubbish when it comes to anything biology related, though I've recently been looking up a bunch of native wildflowers because I'm setting up a bee-friendly garden area at my parents' house.

I suppose you can be forgiven. But you must enjoy the landscape in other ways, right? I feel like I'd be so much fitter if I lived somewhere that was worth going out and exploring. My aunt and cousins are sports nuts, cycling up mountains and all that sort of craziness.

Edinburgh should be a nice place to be too, but in a different way. I've somehow managed to never travel to Scotland myself, but people I know who've been there/lived there are fans. I'll be starting a Masters course myself in September, in Leeds. What course are you going to be doing?
