Oh well, I'm sure it won't be the end of the world! As for reading I've done quite a bit of more general reading in the past - stuff such as Nelson Mandela's autobiography, Aneurin Bevan and some fictiony stuff. I've only recently really started reading stuff directly aimed at PPE. I've just finished Think by Blackburn which was good, but haven't really read anything else for philosophy. Politics I read a really short book called an Introduction to Political Philosophy on the internet and I've just found a site with the Social Contract on it so I'm starting that. Economics wise I read Poor Economics by Bannerjee and Duflo which was cool but apart from the Econmist not much else. What about you?

The summer school was for everyone, but it application's closed now Find out results next week, which is why I'm so anxious to talk to other people, see if they have got replies yet! I don't know what college tbh, I met an economics lecturer from Balliol who was amazing, but generally I'm undecided. Magdalen is closer to the politics and philosophy buildings, and rent varies in colleges etc. I'm kinda the same though, don't really know whether I'll be successful, so I haven't put to much hope into the college picking :L. What sort of reading have you been doing? Any recommendations?

Not to be creepy, but I saw you're added to the Oxford 2013 page for PPE. Then I guessed you were from Northern Ireland from your name... call me prejudiced but most other UK people can't even pronounce Ruairidh! Anyway, did you apply for the UNIQ summer school programme?
