Your Gap Yah will be awesome! I think I applied around the end of January after I found out I got a deferred offer. I basically decided if I get a decent job I will go to Cambridge. It costs £25 to register with them and then they help you with your CV and send it out and arrange interviews. It's better to apply early so you get more choice. The best of luck with A levels and planning the gap year!

Congrats on your offer! I also did a gap yeae so if you need any tips feel free to contact me I would recommend applying with YiNi! I got a 10 month placement in Cambridge Consultants Ltd, so got to experience some of Cambridge life before going to uni.

Really? Ahh brilliant, that's reassuring cos you hear of people who've had nightmare times doing it. Ahh right, that's all good then hahaha, god I couldn't handle that (for all boys, obviously haha)

Ahh right, sounds good
Yeah, to be honest I'm sure you'd have a great time at any Cambridge college. Girton looks great is it an all female college or something though? I can't really remember. And I've applied for Law

Wow, that sounds awesome/complicated! What does the 'via engineering' bit entail? King's college looks amazing, had I applied for Cambridge I definitely would have applied there, so I don't blame you! I did an 'Experience Cambridge' day at Girton in July, and it's lovely. You're right, it's a bit of a trek but really nice nonetheless. Hahaha wow, that sounds like that could work out nicely then! Best of luck with that
And no worries, haha.

Ahh right, that sounds brutal!! Feel for you massively. Good luck with that what subject are you applying for/which college(s)?

Hahahaha, don't worry, this is Finn! Hey Catherine yeah, thank you, I'm still in shock about getting in. What are you doing uni-wise?

I am flying back to Cambridge on Saturday afternoon but I assume the interview is in the morning would have been cool to show you around Camb The main thing to portray is that you love engineering! Practise drawing graphs, they came up on both. I am unsure as Fitz said they are treating me as a new candidate, no info from my 1st college will influence them(good as my interviews were horrid). Equations of motions came up too and some electronics, also stuff about Archimedes principle. Good luck!!

Hi thanks for replying It's on saturday! I applied for chem eng via engineering but they've just said it's one engineering interview at Girton. I had a feeling they would be quite different which is why I'm a bit unsure about how to prepare... I even had to sit 2 exams at the college I initially applied to (King's) which is why I was thinking would it be more about general engineering as they have so much of my technical work already from exams and interviews! But that may have been rubbish so they'll want to test me :P

Hey! They were quite different, at Fitz they were more practical and more fun. They didn't require me to do the TSA and had written questions you did before the interview. When is your interview?
