VEX Robotics UK Champions in need of financial support!

The VEX Robotics team from Barrow Hall College, Warrington are currently developing their robot for this years VEX game 'sack attack' This involves building a robot from VEX parts to score points by placing beanbags in several goals on a 12x12 foot field in timed games against other teams.

Last March, we won the UK championships at the Big Bang fair in Birmingham, so we are currently UK champions! We were offered a place in the world finals in California but we were unable to attend due to lack of funding. We recently placed second in the regional final in Manchester and so qualified for the UK championships again.

Our aim is to win the UK final again and go to California next year for the World final. But we are in need of money to buy parts to improve our robot so we have a chance of doing so. This would be a great opportunity for any companies wishing to sponsor us, it will be great advertising (especially if we go to California)
