Hey, how is your English exam preparation going? We were having quite the moan before. Having put it off so much before, I'm finally getting it. But I think once you get into it, you start to really understand what you are doing. Just done an unseen past paper, apparently you have to do around three or four before you hit a "Peak" and can do well in the exam.

How is your drama going? The crucible is easy enough. And a themes question came up for both that and King Lear. If you haven't done already, draw up a list of all the themes and the relationships between the characters. Focus on the most prominent relationship/most symbolic and the key themes..

oh and believe in yourself; relax and read the questions and you will be fine.

Paper 2 just has some confusing elements and long words to learn here and there but if you practise it over and over and try understand what it tries to tell you then it should stick.

I literally struggled understanding some concepts but I simply memorised the order of a few things and paragraphs (despite not fully understanding them) and regurgitated them back out and wham; 90ums.

I did poor on the 12 marker too as I hadnt really revised it (probably got 6/12) but I never got my paper back so dont know for certain; I basically tried to adapt a few studies to suit the evaluation to be honest.

That's great man! Any tips for Unit 2 , i reckon i'm nearly there for Unit 1 but somehow Unit 2 seems harder!
