Thank you ever so much! For quantitative reasoning I was actually pleasantly surprised by how short most of the questions were. Most just had fairly simple questions relating to a table, with maybe one or two graphs.. however the questions I guessed due to time issues were the longer ones so I suppose there was still a reasonable mix. In general I found that there were more QR questions that you could confidently attempt in comparison to the official mock but there were still longer, more challenging ones too.. it just so happens that they were the ones I guessed. Nono that's quite alright, I'm glad to be able to help!
bit tired right now and not sure about what you've quoted from mark scheme, but i've just sketched this roughly...I got l2 has equation y = -2x + 19, and passes through midpoint D(7,5) of AB. Note that l2 has same slope as tangent so l2 crosses AB at right angles.
Radius of circle is root(80) so Pythag says PD^2 + AD^2 = 80 and by symmetry QD^2 + AD^2 = 80, giving PQ = PD + DQ = 2root(60) if I've done it right
