Hey. Sorry for the delayed reply
I can't really talk about it for the sake of others' privacy. how have you been since you got back though? I hope the family stuff isn't getting you down too much
How is your preparation for going to Ox getting along? I haven't bought anything yet

hey
Classics night out at Oxford is now on the cards for real

Fair enough...
Oh, okay - for university? What's he studying? That's understandable; I don't drink alcohol so anything is preferable to scary vodka.
You were intending to do a history degree?
Oh, of course there's soul selling involved. I think we bartered part of our souls in exchange for the place...
-
You should.
Which immigration things were they? What was that in aid of? Fair enough - I can't say that I was a fan of peaches but each to their own.
That's fair enough. I mean, it was a bit of a jumbled mess but one could argue that that's the perfect allegory for our country. I loved the rendition of 'The Tempest'. Maybe the industry part was due to the fact that it was such an important part of our past development?
True, honor is no laughing matter. And agreed - without my English teacher I categorically wouldn't be going to Oxford in October.
Clearly.
You call it what you want, in that case.
With regards to the bursaries, I believe that one just applies - they've provided no further information...

Yes, the fear of failing is a rather strong motivation for me as well... I'm finally making some progress on writing for the first time since Christmas. How's your's going?
Aha, so you're compelled to drink on your boyfriend's mother's birthday?
Why didn't you like the Opening Ceremony? (Not disputing your right not to like it of course; just curious as to why.)
Oh, I didn't realise that you were Scottish. Well, luckily you don't have too much to worry about on that day, then, and it shouldn't be overly stressful.
I'm glad you're okay...
English teachers for the win!
I also want to go to uni now. Perhaps we should just turn up early and do our matriculation like a month before everyone else!
Why 'Scrumpeh'?
I assure you this will be the last time I take four days to read my visitor messages.

Really? Before A2 levels I was completely devoid of imagination; all I was focusing on was not failing. I wonder whether I'll have writing time at Oxford...
How did the redrafting go?
It's been equally hot here, though no mountains. Have you recovered from the sunstroke/burning? It sounds like you had a very nice time, bar the ten-mile mountain maraud. Is Georgia short of cars?
Yes, though it's predictably raining today, given it's Olympic Opening Ceremony day tonight.
Good; it's pleasing that he's mature enough to help you with all of this...
The 7th? How come? I presume 'Lari' is the Georgian currency? Oh, don't get me started on wonderful teachers; my English teacher (or, rather, ex-English teacher) let me come in pretty much constantly and email her at the most obscene hours regarding my Personal Statement, the interview and suchlike. I adore her. I'm sure, incidentally, that the grounding in the Higher Greek will help you a lot, though.
I'm not getting results.
