I was rejected ages ago; if you're still waiting then they're clearly taking your app seriously. Do let me know how it goes!

Ooh, choose Bristol! Having said that, I'm planning on applying to UCL again after first year, so wouldn't blame you for choosing them.

Hello fellow Oxford reject, gap year-er and Bristol offer-ee! Do you know what uni you'll be firming, if any?

Dear Laurenbowes,
Sorry to see that you didn’t get an offer from Oxford. I do hope that you know that it is a massive achievement even to get an interview for Oxford. So I hope you aren’t too disheartened and that you are proud of yourself for getting an interview. Admissions tutors have to choose between candidates who are almost exactly the same on paper, so sadly there is often an element of luck about the whole thing, and there are many exceptional candidates who are not offered a place.
You’re obviously keen on being taught in a tutorial system so I thought I’d get in touch to let you know that New College of the Humanities offers an English BA with academic depth and breadth and weekly one-to-one tutorials. We are independent from UCAS and still taking direct applications for 2013. If you are interested in finding out more, don’t hesitate to look at our website (www.nchum.org) or give me a call on 0207 637 4550.
Either way, we wish you the best of luck for your future studies.
Jane

Hi, I sent my application to UCAS on 7th October according to Track, received my offer direct from the uni last Friday. Hope that helps I haven't seen anyone else on here with an offer yet, only people who have had their applications held :/

Hi Lauren,
I see that you are applying to Oxford University. I am a graduate of Oxford, and I’m starting a tutoring service for Oxford applicants. I have a few spots left for 2013. I can help you with interview and entrance exam preparation. Please contact me if you are interested, and we’ll take it from there.
Thanks,
Emily Ludolf

Hiya,
Really sorry to sound like a weird stalker - but I saw somewhere that you are doing the EPQ on your gap year? I'm desperately trying to find a way to do this, but all the colleges near me have said no, and the schools don't offer it. I rang AQA to try to find a way to do it, and they are getting back to me at some point today. I was just wondering how you are doing it?
Many Thanks!! Good luck with uni applications!!
