Ah sorry I haven't checked this for ages Hope you haven't been waiting too long for an answer...
I haven't done it (the EPQ), but am doing it this year - and I found it hard too to come up with an initial question I've eventually settled on looking into the causes, and evaluating them, though I haven't passed the mid-project stage and so am not 100% on the wording of my question or on exactly what I'll focus on - but there's bags of stuff out there on the Civil War so loads of choice. I'm not really sure I can be of much help choosing a specific question - is there a certain aspect you're interested in? Otherwise all I can say is to be specific and look into a small aspect in detail, if possible, and obviously make sure it's some kind of evaluative 'To what extent...' or 'How significant was 'blah' in 'blah'?' sort of question... Sorry I couldn't be of more help at the moment, but I'd love to hear what you decide to look into

But whether your straight maths and sciences, how many others do you think will be like you? But just because your a straight A, academic student does not guarantee you a place there will be so many students who are like you and it greatly depends on your personal statement, yes you have the grades but what sets you apart from the other hundreds who have the same options and grades? This is why I want to be different, to give me an elevation and to be honest it can either make or break me but isn't life about taking risks? I know a guy straight A student that didn't get into any of the unversities he applied to the medicine in and to be honest he's quite boring and play it safe. Then again I know a girl who made it into medicine in UCL who did Photography and Art in A level. So you know.

Ohh thanks anyway for bothering to help
Yh, I really enjoy drawing but do you think the work load would be IMMENSE with the sciences, geography (so many essays) and Fine art?

Ohh just thought because you commented on my thread but I sort of have an idea now. What looks better Chemistry, Biology, Geography and Fine art or Chemistry, Biology, Geography and Media applied?

Are you going to be doing Veterinary Medicine in Uni?
