Yeah, I consider myself Agnostic with Atheistic tendencies I guess haha.
I'm open to that possibility. I'd be a fool to say 'no that's not how it happened' etc. I guess we can both agree that the big bang and God don't have to mutually exclusive. But I think 'God' as in the sense of the Biblical God that I grew up with (I don't know what religion you are, I was Christian) isn't one that I either believe in or respect the idea of on the whole.
It's not that I prefer a world where I do whatever I want. Obviously there are consequences, and I don't believe that we really do have free will - but I think the consequences are restricted to earth. There were parts of Christian teaching that I didn't agree with in any way, shape or form, and I felt like a hypocrite to be following some of it and ignoring the rest. And the stuff I was following, I was following because I felt like I had to. I wasn't doing it for myself.
I know that when you are religious, you want to follow the teaching of God. But when you realise you don't even believe in God - like what happened to me - it's becomes impossible to do that. That's why I think I'm a better person, as well as a happier person, now that I'm not bound by religion.
I know not everyone feels like that. But that's just me

I think that's very true of some people, but I'm not one of them. Have a skim through the comments if you want to see my actual reasons for this, I feel like I've repeated myself a million times because of that poem now!
